Our anniversary tree – a ginkgo for the 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗲𝗿GROUP

For our 100th anniversary, we got a really special gift: a ginkgo tree from the Bezirksgruppe Ostwürttemberg – Südwestmetall.

Why a ginkgo? The ginkgo stands for:

Longevity – it can live for over 1,000 years
Resilience – it has existed on Earth for over 200 million years
Renewal – it sprouts fresh every year

Fun fact: The ginkgo is neither a neither a broadleaf tree nor a coniferous tree, but forms its own botanical group, making it truly unique.
This symbol fits perfectly with our approach: consistent, resilient, and open to new ideas.
